We are opening back up!
I am very excited to announce that we will be hosting our blacksmithing classes again! Classes will begin again on May 23, 2020. As exciting as opening back up is, there will be certain conditions ensuring the safety of our students and staff. Our class sizes will be reduced to three students per class, so that we may ensure proper spacing of workstations. Students will receive a brand-new pair of gloves for their class. All safety glasses will still be provided and will be washed thoroughly after each class. All students will be required to bring their own facemask. This can be a homemade or commercial facemask. Normally we would provide this item but due to the increased demand for frontline workers we are asking all students to provide their own. It should be comfortably fitting, covering the mouth and nose, and of a solid material [not knitted]. In addition to these measures any existing bookings that exceed class size will be adjusted to meet the new standard. If you have a group of four or more that has been booked, or is looking to re-book, in the former situation we will contact you to reschedule, in the latter case we ask you to rebook in the fall. All larger group sizes will be rescheduled for fall and winter class. Please contact us directly for larger group classes or any questions you might have about our reopening via email. We thank you all for your continued support and we are glad that we are able to provide much-needed respite and we look forward to seeing you in class!
Stay Safe and thank you for all of your continued efforts in this trying time.
